Putting Food Away From Mastomys Rats: The primary prevention of Lassa fever is avoiding coming in contact with the host known as Mastomys rats. Apparently, this will help prevent and control the Lassa fever. Establishment of diagnostic centre with the provision of vaccines (i.e Ribavirin) in these areas will help to contain the virus at the early stage. Educating people about the latest rodent virus should not be limited to the high risk areas alone. It is of a great important for everyone to educates their family, staffs, colleagues, neighbours and people close to them about this live taken virus.
